Products of strict upbringings they got pregnant before they married and then didn’t do marriage too well after they did tie the knot. And baby number two was coming. Every time I travel, I try to get into my “adventure with GOD” mindset: I pray and ask GOD to make me hyper-aware of the people that HE brings across my path. I believe there are no coincidences, only God-incidences, and I want to have my antennas up and ready for them. My daughter received a birthday party invitation, and she was thrilled! We had only lived there a couple months, and she constantly complained she didn’t know anybody. How could we say “No”? A few years ago, my brother, Chris, got married. Most of you are thinking, big deal, people get married all the time. But you don’t get it. This is amazing. This is the ultimate Valentine’s story. I’ve talked about Chris before. He lives in a wheelchair. He’s lived in one his whole life. He needs someone to dress him, take him to the bathroom, and even feed him. Just recently, Jenn Nahrstahdt, Starbucks barista and friend of Q Place, worked her last shift at the coffee bar in order to pursue God’s next calling for her life. Jenn’s excited for what the future holds but also knows she’ll miss her Starbucks community—they meant a lot to each other.
